What is Art4Good?
We’re delighted to announce the launch of a new C&B project, which aims to connect local creatives with local art lovers and supporters, all in the name of charity and worthwhile causes.
We will be working with a selection of talented local artists throughout the year. You can expect to see C&B menu-covers adorned with original art, and the walls of our C&B shops featuring original pieces.
C&B fans are invited to purchase the original piece for the quoted price. Part of the proceeds will be donated to a selected local charity or cause, and the donation will be matched in value by Chicken & Blues.

Featured artist – Chris Hodges
If you visit our Ashley Cross restaurant before the end of March, you will see the delightfully creative work by local artist Chris Hodges featured on the wall.
Chris is a Poole native, and whilst he has always had a love and appreciation of art, it’s only since retiring two years ago that he has taken it seriously.
He attends local art classes throughout the year, and creates his own pieces in his spare time.
Chris’ preferred style is the use of acrylics, as he likes the way they can be manipulated in a variety of ways to get different effects. He also enjoys using pencil for portraiture of animals and humans.
His abstract and colourful guitar, painted with acrylic and produced exclusively for C&B, is available for purchase for £300, with a proportion of the proceeds being donated to local mental health charity, Dorset Mind, which is a charity close to Chris’ heart. The donation will be matched by C&B.
