We’re delighted to announce that Chicken & Blues has has been crowned ‘Best Takeaway in the South East of England’, with a notable ‘highly commended’ mention in the overall ‘Best Takeaway in Britain’ at The British Takeaway Awards 2017! The ceremony was held at London’s beautiful Savoy Hotel on Monday.

The star-studded evening was hosted by John Bishop, who was joined for the event by special guests including model and actress Kelly Brook, Countdown’s Rachel Riley, tv presenter Lisa Faulkner and Love Island’s Chris Hughes, to name a few!

The judges were especially impressed by Chicken & Blues unique marinade and 48 hour cooking process, alongside our work in the community! The panel, which included Ainsley Harriott and Dragon’s Den star Sarah Willingham, voting Chicken & Blues as their overall winners of the South East’s Best Takeaway.

Founders Josh and Steve attended the ceremony and collected the award on behalf of the teams.

Joshua Simons: “We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who voted for us, our loyal patrons, and of course our committed and hard-working teams. This award is for them!”

Steve Crawford: “To be nominated was superb, but to go on and win was beyond our expectations. This is very exciting times for Chicken & Blues, and we’re excited to see where this journey takes us.”
