Lilliput Girls U10s Win £1,000 Chicken & Blues Sponsorship
We’re delighted to announce Lilliput Girls Under-10s — the Tsunamis — as the winners of our £1,000 grassroots sponsorship competition.
Throughout the summer, we invited local junior sports teams to enter for the chance to receive £1,000 towards their new season. The response was incredible, with more than 350 teams entering from across the region.
After plenty of consideration from our Community Team, the Lilliput Tsunamis were selected as our winners.
The £1,000 sponsorship will help towards the team’s new kits, training wear and other essentials needed to give the girls the best possible start to their season — including their brand-new Chicken & Blues-sponsored shirts and training tops.
Celebrating at C&B
On Tuesday 8th September, the full team and their coaches joined us at Chicken & Blues for a celebratory get-together and a little Mama’s Home Cookin’.
C&B Co-Founder Joshua Simons met the players and coaches to present their £1,000 cheque and see the girls reveal their new Chicken & Blues kits for the first time.
Joshua said:
“Supporting local sport and active lifestyles is something we really want to get behind at Chicken & Blues. Being part of our local community has always mattered to us, and initiatives like this give us another opportunity to support the people and teams within it.
“We launched the competition this summer, during World Cup, to give a local team the chance to win £1,000 towards their new season, and we’re delighted that the Lilliput Tsunamis are our winners.
“It was great to meet the girls and their coaches at C&B, and we wish the whole team a successful season ahead.”
A huge thank you to all 350+ teams who entered our competition, and congratulations again to the Lilliput Girls U10s Tsunamis.

A Collaboration We’re Proud Of
Levi Roots became a household name after one of Dragons’ Den’s most famous pitches – armed with only a guitar, a homemade sauce, and self-belief, he sang his way to backing from Peter Jones and Richard Farleigh.
His grandmother’s Jamaican family recipe went on to become Reggae Reggae Sauce, landing a national supermarket deal within weeks and launching a food empire built on Caribbean flavour, music and culture.
That same bold energy is exactly what we wanted for this summer’s special – so having Levi on board is a proud moment for everyone at Chicken & Blues.
Introducing the New Chicken & Blues Menu
After months of work behind the scenes, we’re excited to unveil the latest Chicken & Blues menu.
As always, our goal was simple: take the dishes our patrons already love, refine them, improve them, and introduce a few new favourites along the way.
Meet Our New Signature Wraps
One thing we’ve learned over the years is that people love choice.
With more than 1,400 possible wrap combinations available at Chicken & Blues, creating your perfect wrap has become part of the experience.
But sometimes, it’s nice to let us do the hard work.
That’s why we’ve introduced a range of new Signature Wraps — carefully crafted combinations designed by our team using some of our favourite ingredients, sauces and toppings.
Whether you’re a fan of Southern Fried Chicken, BBQ chicken, spicy flavours or something a little more indulgent, there’s a Signature Wrap with your name on it.
Introducing Signature Plates
Another exciting addition to the menu is our brand-new Signature Plates.
Think of these as some of our favourite combinations, brought together on one plate.
From comforting classics and hearty BBQ dishes to protein-packed options for those looking to refuel, we’ve done the pairing for you – each plate has been designed to showcase some of the best flavours Chicken & Blues has to offer.
New Sauces, New Flavours
No Chicken & Blues menu update would be complete without a few refinements to our sauce line-up.
Following months of requests from patrons, Truffle Mayo has officially earned its place on the menu. Originally launched as a special in partnership with Truffle Guys, it quickly became one of our most popular additions, making the decision to keep it permanently an easy one.
For those who like things a little hotter, we’ve also introduced Mango Habanero. Sweet, fruity and packing a fiery kick, it’s quickly becoming a favourite amongst heat seekers looking to take their meal to the next level.
Cake Shakes Just Got Exciting
What started as a fun menu addition has become one of the most popular desserts we’ve ever launched.
Our famous Cake Shakes have developed something of a cult following, and we’re excited to introduce two brand-new flavours to the line-up.
Perfect as a dessert, a treat or simply because you fancy one.
No judgement here.
Built Around What You Love
The biggest thing we focused on during this menu refresh wasn’t adding more items.
It was making the menu easier to navigate while highlighting some of the combinations and dishes we know our patrons already love.
The result is a menu that’s clearer, more exciting and packed with flavour from top to bottom.

C&B Truck Rolls Into Jamie Whisken’s Testimonial at Poole Town FC
What a day.
This past weekend, the Chicken & Blues truck rolled into Poole Town Football Club to be part of Jamie Whisken’s testimonial match — a brilliant celebration of one of non-league football’s true servants.
Thousands of supporters packed into the ground to honour Jamie’s incredible career and contribution to Poole Town over the years, with a host of football legends and familiar faces taking to the pitch for a memorable afternoon.
For over a decade, Jamie has been a huge supporter of Chicken & Blues, so we were incredibly proud to be invited along to feed the fans, players, staff and special guests throughout the day.
And what a guest list it was.
From Harry Redknapp and Leon Best to Adam Lallana, Brett Pitman and a whole host of football personalities, it was fantastic to see so many well-known names enjoying a bit of Mama’s Home Cookin’ from the truck.
To mark the occasion properly, we even created a couple of special one-day-only wraps for the event — including the ‘Lallana’s On Fire’ wrap and a special Jamie-inspired match day wrap in honour of the man himself, the ‘Whisken All Star’!
The atmosphere throughout the day was incredible and a real reminder of what football at community level is all about — loyal supporters, familiar faces, local pride and bringing people together.
Jamie, congratulations on an outstanding career. Thank you for all your support over the years and for having us as part of such a special day.

Supporting Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity
Chicken & Blues is proud to announce that our Charity of the Year for 2026 will be Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, an incredible organisation that provides specialist nurses and support for seriously ill children living with complex, lifelong conditions.
About Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity
Founded in memory of the world-famous author Roald Dahl, the charity works to ensure children with serious medical conditions receive the care and support they need.
At the heart of the charity’s work are Roald Dahl Nurses — specialist nurses who work within NHS Trusts to support children with complex, often lifelong conditions. These nurses help families navigate the healthcare system, coordinate treatment across multiple specialists, and provide emotional support during what can be an incredibly challenging journey.
For many families, a Roald Dahl Nurse becomes a lifeline — offering expert clinical support while also providing reassurance and guidance through some of the most difficult moments of childhood illness.
Supporting the Partnership Through Our Juniors Meals
The partnership also aligns with the launch of the new Chicken & Blues Juniors Meal, designed to make dining with C&B even more fun for younger guests.
Each Juniors Meal will feature a limited-edition activity illustration, giving children the chance to colour in Marvin the Crocodile, the charity’s charismatic mascot, while they enjoy their meal.
Throughout the year, every C&B Juniors’ Meal sold will help raise vital funds for the charity. By enjoying a meal with us, you’ll be helping to establish more Roald Dahl Nurses who make such a difference to the lives of seriously ill children and their families.

And in 2026, that support will help bring specialist care to children and families who need it most.

We’re proud to share that Chicken & Blues Christchurch has been awarded ‘My Favourite Business’ at the Christchurch Local Business Awards.
This award means a huge amount to us because it’s voted for by the local community – the very people who walk through our doors each week and make the restaurant what it is.
A special thank you goes to Cat, our Christchurch General Manager, and her brilliant team. Since taking over as General Manager a few years ago, Cat has built something really special – a welcoming, friendly restaurant where guests know they’ll be looked after and where the team genuinely care about delivering 5* C&B food and hospitality, every day.
