Chicken & Blues has partnered with Too Good To Go, an organisation that has been launched to fight food waste internationally.
Every day, delicious, fresh food goes to waste at restaurants around the world. The Too Good To Go App lets you buy and collect this food – at a great price – so it gets eaten instead of wasted at the end of the night.
You won’t know exactly what’s in your order until you pick it up – it’s all part of the surprise. We’ll have a limited amount of ‘Magic Bags’ available at C&B restaurants, daily.
Other brands that currently work with Too Good To Go include Yo Sushi, Costa, and PRET.
“Reducing food waste is one of the most important things we can do to reverse global warming.” – Chad Frischmann, Climate Change Expert
C&B has announced that it will be taking up a 6-month residency in Bristol, in partnership with Deliveroo. Mama’s Home Cookin’ will be available from the beginning of August, delivering to an audience of over 400,000 Bristol residents.
Joshua Simons, co-founder of C&B: “We’re delighted to be taking Chicken & Blues to Bristol. Deliveroo has given us the opportunity to set up shop in a vibrant city with a dynamic independent food scene. Our partnership has grown steadily since 2015, and as such we’re excited to see how the Bristol Editions kitchen can further strengthen C&B’s brand in the south west of England”.
Chicken & Blues are now recruiting Chefs for Bristol’s launch in August. For further information, e-mail Operations Manager email@example.com.
We’re excited to announce that in just a few months’ time, the C&B truck will land in Bournemouth. It’s been a long time coming, and as we’ve been inundated with requests over the years to cater for local events and festivals, we’ve decided to go for it with a ‘proper’ all singin’ all dancin’ truck.
We’ll be focusing on Dorset-based events, from private events such as weddings and birthdays, to public events of various kinds. We’re ready to fire up any occasion with Mama’s Home Cookin’!
Chicken & Blues is delighted to announce that it has formed a partnership with local American Football team, Bournemouth Bobcats.
The Bournemouth Bobcats have a rich and proud history. Playing as a the premier American Football team on the South Coast between 1986 and 1991, the Bobcats won the Budweiser Premier Bowl in 1987, and competed at the top level of the game in the UK from 1988 to 1991.
After a long and colourful journey since the 1990’s, this year sees the Bobcats take on the challenge of Division 1 football and a 10-game schedule!
Keith Barnes, Bournemouth Bobcats Manager: “More than just a team, we are a family. Our focus is not on winning but being the best versions of ourselves – teammates and brothers. Once we had accomplished this, winning came as a by-product. We fight to make ourselves and each other better players, teammates and people. We are a Bobcat family – proud, inclusive, supportive and there for one another, on and off the field. We’re delighted to have joined forces with Chicken & Blues to help spread our message to the great people of Bournemouth and Poole, and hope to see some Patrons supporting us at the upcoming games. We look forward to welcoming you!”.
Joshua Simons, Chicken & Blues: Keith and his team are doing a fine job representing Bournemouth in one of the top divisions of American Football in the UK. We share their inclusive and supportive family values, and are excited to follow their progress for the rest of this season, as well as providing the players with their favourite Mama’s Home Cookin’!

Glen Dillon-Lee, our Head of Food, features in this video, where he presents our Korean BBQ Wings, which are available for just over 1 month – from Thursday 26th May, until the end of June, 2022.
Enjoy lightly coated wings, which are fried and then shaken in homemade Korean BBQ sauce and mango drizzle, before being topped with spring onions and sesame seeds. Sold in portions of 5 or 10, for dine-in, takeaway, or delivery.
Deliveroo this week announced the most ordered dishes in Bournemouth on their platform, and C&B’s Southern Fried Chicken Wrap came out on top, beating Wagamama’s Chicken Katsu Curry into 2nd place, Five Guys’ Bacon Cheeseburger into 3rd place, Roosters Piri Piri’s Chicken Wrap into 4th place, and Taco Bell’s Quesadilla into 5th place.
It goes without saying that great publicity like this is owed to the many C&B fans across the area who order from us so regularly. The support you continue to show us is incredible, especially over the last few years of the pandemic, where at times we wondered what the future would hold.
Also, we’ve grown to learn that we’re not just in the business of Chicken. More importantly, we’re in the business of people. Every member of our Team (over 60 of them in total) work hard day in day out to passionately represent the brand. We’re committed to making C&B a great place to work and progress your career in hospitality.
We’re a Bournemouth-born business, and these crazy stats, mixing it with brands that we’ve always looked up to, proves to us that we’ve come a long way since we opened our first little shack in Boscombe all those years ago!
